SOP of the Program

The Carysil Limited (Carysil) Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Scholarship Program is our way of shaping the future generation of transformational leaders. Carysil recognizes education as a building block of any nation and considers it a priority area for CSR activities. The aim is to nurture young minds and educate them so that they can contribute to the nation’s development.

This is an initiative of Carysil Limited through CSR activities to offer financial assistance to eligible meritorious students and specially-abled students.

Objective

  • Providing education to people from socially, physically, and economically disadvantaged communities.
  • Offering scholarship programs that create opportunities for low-income group families.
  • Providing financial support so students can emerge as young professionals in the future.

Committee

Application Screening and Verification Committee

This committee screens all applications received. Document verification, family income verification, and physical verification are carried out by this committee. Applications that meet all criteria are shortlisted for a personal interview with the CSR committee.

The Ashwanila Charitable Trust CSR Committee

This committee conducts final personal interviews of shortlisted eligible applicants and finalizes candidates and the scholarship amount.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Students should apply for the current financial year for the next FY 2026–27.
  • Students studying in colleges or schools located within Bhavnagar are eligible to apply. Native students of Bhavnagar who wish to study in any college across India can also apply.
  • Students should have secured at least 85% in their 10th–12th examinations.
  • Only one (1) child from the same family can apply.
  • The scholarship is open to all eligible boys and girls.

Eligible students can apply via the link on the scholarship flyer QR code, along with the documents listed below.

  1. Scholarship Application Form duly filled up
  2. Aadhaar Card
  3. Marksheets of 10th or 12th Standard
  4. Copy of Passbook or Cheque
  5. Copy of Fee Receipt
  6. Copy of Hostel Fee Receipt
  7. Income Certificate, or Form 16 from the employer in case of salaried parents
  8. School Leaving Certificate
  9. School Bonafide Certificate
  10. Certificate of disability (if applicable)
  11. Other certificates

Process to get Scholarship

The scholarship is tenable for the entire duration of the selected course. The scholarship amount is awarded on an annual basis and continues until completion of the course.

Continuation of the scholarship is subject to satisfactory performance of the student.

If a student fails in any term or subject, or is rusticated, debarred, or expelled from the institute, college, or university, the scholarship shall be discontinued.

Steps for applying

  1. Scan the QR code displayed on the scholarship flyer.
  2. Read the instructions and eligibility criteria for the scholarship.
  3. Download the application form from the website.
  4. Duly fill the application form and submit it with proofs in physical copy to Carysil Limited, Survey 312, Bhavnagar-Rajkot Highway, Navagam, Vartej, Gujarat 364060, with “APPLICATION FOR SCHOLARSHIP” written on the cover.
